Pink Tie Friends, Inc. holds events throughout the year.  Our signature events are the Pink Tie Friends’ Luncheon–which is held in August–and the Pink Tie Gala, which is held in October.

Pink Tie Friends’ Luncheon

The Luncheon has been held since 2007.

On August 15, 2009, nearly 250 people attended the third annual Luncheon, which was held at the Port St. Lucie Civic Center.  The event raised $19,000 to help the organization fulfill its mission of assisting newly diagnosed breast cancer patients in Martin, St. Lucie and Indian River Counties who are either uninsured or under insured.

Pink Tie Friends, Inc. also unveiled the men and women of its 2010 Light of Hope Calendar.

Pink Tie Gala

The Pink Tie Gala debuted in 2005 at the Lyric Theatre in historic downtown Stuart, Florida.

The annual event features performers from the Treasure Coast’s dance and theatre communities.

In 2009, the Gala will be held on October 3.  This year’s show will close  with an inspirational lighting ceremony and presentation of the stars of 2010 Pink Tie Calendar.
